Vikings Waive QB Pat Devlin

The Minnesota Vikings announced that they’ve placed QB Pat Devlin on waivers Thursday to make room for recently signed QB Mike Kafka.

Delvin, 26, signed with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Delaware back in 2011. He served as the Dolphins’ third-string quarterback last season, backing up Ryan Tannehill and Matt Moore.

The Vikings added Devlin to their practice squad last year before later signing him to a future/reserve contract. He has yet to appear in an NFL game.

Why don’t you give Vince Young a chance.. He wouldn’t cost a lot and He can still play at a HIGH level….
His career won/loss record is 31-19… He has playoff experience … He’s a 2 time Pro-Bowler… He was voted 2006 NFL Rookie of the Year….. The NFL is all about “WINS and LOSSES”…. and this guy WINS…. There is a big difference between Perception and Reality.
If you can use a good man at backup QB… Bring this guy in and judge him as such.. A backup…
