Vikings Will Start Matt Cassel Again In Week 15

The Minnesota Vikings are sticking with Matt Cassel at quarterback for Week 15’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to Ben Goessling.

This is at least somewhat interesting given that Christian Ponder has been cleared following a recent concussion. Still, Cassel has clearly been the more effective quarterback this season.

Last weekend, Cassel completed 17-of-38 passes for 265 yards and two touchdowns and nearly led the Vikings to an incredible win fourth quarter win over the Ravens.

Interestingly enough, Cassel has played in every game the Vikings have managed to win this season. He has completed over 59 percent of his passes for 1122 yards, seven touchdowns and four interceptions.
