Vikings Worked Out Five CFL Players

Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press reports that the Vikings brought in five CFL players for tryouts on Friday for future/reserve considerations.

According to Tomasson, the list of tryouts includes:

  1. WR Brandon Zylstra (Edmonton Concordia-Moorhead)
  2. DE Craig Roh (British Columbia)
  3. DB Kacy Rodgers (Saskatchewan)
  4. DB Jonathon Mincy (Montreal)
  5. WR Darel Walker (Edmonton)

Mincy, 25, wound up signing on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn back in 2015. He was, unfortunately, cut loose coming out of the preseason and signed on with the Montreal Alouettes in time for the 2016 CFL season.

During his two years with Montreal, Mincy has recorded 108 tackles, three interceptions and two forced fumbles over the course of 32 games.

At Auburn, Mincy totaled 211 tackles, two sacks, two interceptions, a forced fumble, a recovery and 27 pass defenses over the course of four seasons.
