Vikings Worked Out Five CFL Players Including QB Bo Levi Mitchell

According to Howard Balzer, the Vikings brought in a number of CFL players for tryouts on Wednesday including QB Bo Levi Mitchell. 

The full list of tryouts for the Vikings includes:

1. QB Bo Levi Mitchell (Calgary)
2. CB Winston Rose (British Columbia)
3. DB/LB Chris Ackie (Ottawa)
4. WR Diontae Spencer (Ottawa)
5. LB Jameer Thurman (Calgary)

Mitchell, 28, went undrafted out of Eastern Washington in the 2012 NFL Draft and signed on with the Calgary Stampeders of the CFL. 

He is a two-time Grey Cup Champion from this year and 2014 and won the Grey Cup MVP award each time. He also won the CFL’s Most Outstanding Player award in 2016 and 2018. 

During his six-year CFL career, Levi Mitchell has completed 1,850 passes on 2,860 attempts (64,6) for 24,468 passing yards, 150 touchdowns, and 59 interceptions.
