Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jerome Simpson had a full practice on Wednesday, and is “one hundred percent certain” he’ll be active for Week 7.
Simpson has been battling a back problem for the past ten days. “The way he plays – he’s an energetic guy who has such a passion for the game,” Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier said. “If you take some of that away, some of his elusiveness even after the catch, you affected his game. Just wanted to be smart, give him a little bit more time.”
The 4-2 Vikings face the 4-2 Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. Simpson’s contract is performance-based, so it’s not hard to see why he wants to be back on the field desperately.
