Vikings WR Stefon Diggs “Long Shot” To Play In Week 9

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Vikings WR Stefon Diggs (ribs) is considered to be a “long shot” to suit up for Sunday’s game against the Lions.

The Vikings signaled that Diggs could sit Week 9 out after they promoted WR Chad Beebe to their active roster.

Diggs, 24, is a former fifth-round pick of the Vikings back in 2015. He was in the final year of his rookie contract when he agreed to a five-year extension worth $72 million with the Vikings this past July.

In 2018, Diggs has appeared in eight games and caught 58 passes for 587 yards receiving and four touchdowns. He has also rushed for 36 yards.
