During the Philadelphia Eagles spending spree, they brought in Vince Young to be Michael Vick‘s backup but Paul Domowitch of the Philadelphia Daily News seems to think that the Eagles would like to Mike Kofka rather than Young if something were to happen to Michael Vick.
“Whether that changes in October or November, we’ll see,” writes Domowitch.
Eagles offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg mentions that Young still more to learn when it comes to the teams offense.
“We’ll see how quickly Vince is coming, and that’s a hard thing in this system without an offseason,” said Mornhinweg. “So, he’s doing everything possible to get himself ready to play at a high level. [QB coach] Doug [Pederson] is working hard, hard, hard on that with him.”
Young needs to show some improvement during tonight’s game against the Browns but the same could be said about Michael Vick as he’s coming off of a three-turnover game.
