Continuing with rumors that related to the Washington Redskins, Jason La Canfora reports that team sources have told him that the Mike Shanahan will “ultimately take anything he can” in return DT Albert Haynesworth.
La Canfora’s sources mention that keeping Haynesworth and the distractions that he brings while paying him a high salary doesn’t make a lot sense considering that this year could be a make or break year for Shanahan. The report also mentions that the Redskins do not want Haynesworth to end up with the Philadelphia Eagles so a trade would make the most sense. The Titans have been mentioned as possibility for him but you could add the Broncos to the list of possibilities.
