The Washington Redskins released LB Akeem Jordan from the injured reserve list on Saturday, according to the NFL transactions release.
Washington placed Jordan on the season-ending injured reserve list close to a month ago with a knee injury, which in turn freed up a roster spot for DE Stephen Bowen, who was activated from the physically unable to perform list.
Jordan, 29, signed a one-year contract worth $920,000 with the Redskins back in March. This season, Jordan has appeared in two games and recorded one tackle.
We’ll have to see if any shows interest in him over the next few days.
