Washington TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins Visiting The Jets Thursday

Tony Pauline of DraftInsider.net reports that Washington TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins is visiting with the Jets on Thursday.

  • Seferian-Jenkins has reportedly visited with the Bills and Lions.

The Jets have met with other tight prospects such as Jace Amaro (Texas Tech) and C.J. Fiedorowicz (Iowa). They have also been mentioned as a team to watch in regards to UNC TE Eric Ebron, although it appears as though he’ll be off the board by the time they are on the clock.

Opinions vary regarding Seferian-Jenkins as believe he could develop into starting tight end at the next level while others have concerns about his overall game.

Last year, he totaled 36 receptions, 450 yards, and eight touchdowns for the Huskies.

We have the Falcons taking him in the second round of our most recent 2014 NFL Mock Draft.
