Washington WR John Ross Entering 2017 Draft

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Washington WR John Ross will forego his senior year and officially enter the 2017 NFL Draft.

Ross is considered to be one of the top receiver prospects in this year’s draft class and could possibly end up being a day-one selection this May.

Some have compared Ross to NFL receivers such as DeSean Jackson and Brandin Cooks based on his speed and agility but he struggled in Washington’s game against Alabama, catching just five passes for 28 yards receiving.

During his college career, Ross totaled 114 receptions for 1,729 yards receiving and 20 touchdowns for the Huskies over the course of 40 games. He also contributed 2,069 kick return yards and four touchdowns over the course of three seasons.
