- Brandon Krisztal of the Denver Post reports that free agent LB Wesley Woodyard‘s first visit will be with the Patriots this week.
- Krisztal adds that Woodyard has another visit scheduled after that.
Woodyard, 27, was an impressive performer earlier in the season for the Broncos, but fell out of favor down the stretch and in the playoffs.
Last year, he totaled 84 tackles, 1.5 sacks, an interception and two forced fumbles over the course of 14 games for Denver.
According to Calvin Watkins of ESPN, the Cowboys have expressed interest in Broncos’ free agent ILB Wesley Woodyard.
- Watkins mentions there is at least a chance that LB Justin Durant could be released and Woodyard brought in as his replacement.
Durant’s release would free up around $1.25 million in cap space, according to Watkins.
