Western Michigan WR Corey Davis Visited Titans, Eagles, Ravens, Browns & Cardinals

Western Michigan wide receiver Corey Davis tells Jenna Laine that in total he took five pre-draft visits and met with the Titans, Eagles, Ravens, Browns and Cardinals.

Davis added that he met with 12 teams at the combine and his ankle is about 85 percent right now. Although, Davis said he expects to be ready for the start of training camp, per Laine.

A few months ago, Davis suffered an ankle injury while training, which led to him missing the Scouting Combine.

Some have wondered if Davis’ inability to work out for teams could impact his draft status, but it still appears likely that he’ll hear his name called on Thursday.

Davis is one of 22 players who will be in attendance for this year’s draft in Philadelphia.

Davis, 22, is widely considered to be a first-round talent and one of the top receivers in this year’s draft class. He was the MAC Offensive Player of the Year this past season. During his four years at Western Michigan, Davis caught 331 passes for 5,278 yards receiving (15.9 YPR) to go along with 52 touchdowns.
