Whisenhunt Clues In On His Preference For The Team’s Quarterback

According to Adam Green of Arizona Sports, Ken Whisenhunt has made mention of who he might prefer to be the starting quarter back when the 2012 season begins.

While Kolb and Skelton have been in a “quarterback competition” thus far, Whisenhunt goes on to say, “I’ll be honest with you and say I obviously know how much we invested in Kevin.  I want Kevin to be successful, I want him to be our quarterback, but I’m not going to ignore the fact that John Skelton worked pretty hard and did a good job when he was in there playing, too.”

Things are still early, and as Whisenhunt continues to suggest that financial investment has no factor in who will be starting at the quarter back position, Kolb serving as a back up quarter back with his contract would be a conspicuous issue that management would have to deal with.

Talking out of both sides of his mouth, I’d say. Earlier this week he swore contracts don’t matter.  We all knew Kolbs ridiculous contract was a big factor. It’s ok Ken, it’s not a secret……….
