With Rams Moving Back To L.A., Contract Extension Could Be Coming For HC Jeff Fisher?

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports mentions that a contract extension for Rams HC Jeff Fisher could be in the cards now that the team is expected to relocate to Los Angeles.

Fisher took the Rams’ job four years ago, even though there was talk that the franchise could relocate to L.A.

Interestingly enough, Fisher actually has experience being in charge of a team relocating, as he was the Oilers head coach when they moved to Tennessee and became the Titans.

The Rams may prefer to give Fisher an extension so that they can get settled in their new market before considering any major changes.

Since taking the job in 2012, Fisher has led the Rams to a record of 27-36 (43 percent), which includes four straight seasons of less than eight wins.

We’ll have more regarding a potential extension for Fisher as the news is available.
