Laurent Robinson’s Concussions “Scaring” Away Teams

Ben Volin of the Boston Globe reports that WR Laurent Robinson concussion history  has scared away the New England Patriots, among other teams.

A breakout candidate following an exceptional 2011 season with the Cowboys, Robinson’s  career has been underwhelming following a concussion riddled 2012 season with the  Jaguars.

The Patriots had reportedly wanted to sign Robinson two weeks ago, however at the end of the day the team did not feel comfortable enough to offer him a contract.

Robinson, 28, has already met with a number teams since deciding to return to NFL including the 49ersColts, DolphinsJetsLions, Patriots and Saints, but has been skipped over in favor of guys like Austin CollieLavelle Hawkins and Julius Pruitt.
