49ers Re-Signing RB DuJuan Harris To One-Year Deal

Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee reports that the 49ers are re-signing RBĀ DuJuan Harris to a one-year contract on Monday.

Harris, 28, originally signed on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent free agent out of Troy back in 2011. He was later claimed off of waivers by the Steelers before catching on with the Packers in October of 2012.

After a few years in Green Bay, Harris has had brief stints with the Vikings, Saints, Seahawks and Ravens before he signed onĀ to the 49ersā€™ active roster towards the end of the 2015 season.

The 49ers elected to bring him back on a one-year contract last year and he was on and off of their active roster.

In 2016, Harris appeared in 10 games and rushed for 138 yards on 38 carries (3.6 YPC) to go along with eight receptions for 115 yards receiving and one touchdown.
