The San Francisco 49ers are signing DE Damontre Moore to a contract, according to Matt Barrows.
The 49ers actually worked Moore out in December of last year and they apparently liked how he performed in the AAF. Moore totaled seven sacks in the AAF, which was second in the league.
Moore, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Giants back in 2013. He lasted over two years in New York before he was waived in December of last year.
The Dolphins wound up claiming him off of waivers from the Giants. However, he was later waived. Since then, Moore played for the Raiders, Seahawks and Cowboys before returning to Oakland a few weeks ago.
The Raiders cut him loose last year and he later signed on with the San Diego Fleet of the AAF.
In 2018, Moore appeared in three games for the Cowboys and recorded five tackles and no sacks.
