ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that former Jaguars WR Allen Robinson intends to sign a contract with the Chicago Bears at the start of free agency on Wednesday.
- According to Ian Rapoport, Robinson’s contract with the Bears is a three-year, $42 million contract with roughly $25 million guaranteed.
The 49ers, Packers, Browns, Ravens and Panthers, all came up as other potential options for Robinson.
Robinson, 24, is a former second-round pick by the Jaguars in the 2014 NFL Draft. He played out the final year of a four-year, $3.510 million rookie contract and made a base salary of $898,755 for the 2017 season.
In 2017, Robinson appeared in one game and caught one pass for 17 yards and no touchdowns.
