Bengals View FS Reggie Nelson As A Top-Priority

Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer studies the Bengals’ secondary and discusses off-season strategy.  While CB Nate Clements played well last season, and Leon Hall will be returning from injury, the Bengals will still look to add at the CB position through the draft or free agency (remember, ex-Raider Stanford Routt visits with the Bengals today).

There’s also a question at SS, which means that a top priority for the Bengals will be to nail down FS Reggie Nelson, who is coming off his strongest season.  Despite the fact that Nelson would probably fare well in the free agent market, the Bengals have the cap room available to pay Nelson what he’s worth before moving on to the other secondary positions.
