Browns Sign Third-Round DE Carl Nassib, Wrap Up 2016 Draft Class


The Cleveland Browns announced Wednesday that they have agreed to terms with third-round DE Carl Nassib.

With this signing, the Browns have officially locked up their 2016 draft class to four-year contracts.

Nassib, 23, was taken with the No. 65 overall pick by the Browns. Nassib has been praised for his high motor and hustle, and should give the Browns a solid defensive lineman to develop in the coming years.

According to, Nassib receives a four-year contract worth $3,229,756 to go along with a signing bonus of $889,756.

During his three-year college career at Penn St., Nassib recorded 64 tackles, 24 tackles for a loss, 17.5 sacks, seven forced fumbles, 1 INT, and two pass deflections.
