The Browns announced that they have signed DT Tracy Sprinkle to their training camp roster and waived CB Jermaine Ponder to make room for him.

Sprinkle, 22, originally signed on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of Ohio State back in April of last year. He was among Carolina’s final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.
Since becoming a free agent, Sprinkle worked out for the Chiefs earlier this offseason but left Kansas City without a contract.
He has yet to appear in an NFL game.
During his two-year college career at Ohio State, Sprinkle recorded 20 total tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, no sacks, one pass defense, and one fumble recovery.
