Browns Signing OL Earl Watford

Mike Garafolo reports that the Browns are signing OL Earl Watford to a contract on Tuesday.

Watford, 28, is a former fourth-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2013. He played out his rookie contract with Arizona before signing a two-year, $5 million contract with the Jaguars back in March of last year.

Unfortunately, Jacksonville cut Watford at the start of the 2017 season and he later returned to the Cardinals midseason and finished out the year in Arizona.

Watford signed a one-year contract with the Bears this offseason only to cut him loose on Sunday.

In 2017, Watford appeared in 10 games for the Cardinals and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 74 offensive tackle out of 77 qualifying players.
