Buccaneers Signing Breshad Perriman After Browns Let Him Out Of Agreement

Adam Schefter reports that the Buccaneers are signing WR Breshad Perriman to a one-year, $4 million contract after the Browns agreed to let him out of the verbal agreement they had before the Odell Beckham Jr trade.

Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reported earlier that Perriman wanted out of the one-year, $4 million contract with the Browns and it looks like they were able to come to an agreement to allow him to pursue other opportunities.

Perriman, 25, is a former first-round pick out of Central Florida by the Ravens in the 2015 NFL Draft. He spent over three seasons in Baltimore before he was cut loose coming out of the preseason.

The Redskins signed Perriman to a contract during the season, but elected to cut him loose soon after. The Browns later signed him to a contract and he finished out the year in Cleveland.

In 2018, Perriman appeared in 10 games for the Browns and caught 16 passes for 340 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
