Buccaneers Signing TE Cameron Brate To Six-Year, $41M Deal

Jason La Canfora is reporting that the Buccaneers are signing TE Cameron Brate to a new six-year contract on Monday.

  • Jenna Laine reports that Brate receives a six-year, $41 million contract with $18 million guaranteed.

Brate, 26, signed on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Harvard back in 2014. He was on and off of their active roster during first two years in the NFL and had a brief stint with the Saints before returning to the Buccaneers in September of 2015.

Brate returned to the Buccaneers on an exclusive fights contract last year and was in line to be a restricted free agent this offseason.

In 2017, Brate appeared in all 16 games for the Buccaneers and caught 48 passes for 591 yards receiving and six touchdowns.
