The Buccaneers are re-signing veteran S Chris Conte to a contract on Thursday, according to Greg Auman.
Conte, 28, is a former third-round pick of the Bears back in 2011. He played out his rookie contract with the Bears before signing a one-year deal with the Buccaneers in 2015.
The Buccaneers brought him last year on a one-year, $1.5 million contract.
In 2016, Conte appeared in 14 games for the Buccaneers and recorded 69 tackles, two interceptions with one being returned for a touchdown, a fumble recovery and five pass defenses.
