Cardinals Signing Mike Glennon To Two-Year, $8M Deal

Ian Rapoport reports that the Cardinals are signing QB Mike Glennon to a two-year $8 million contract now that he’s been officially released by the Bears.

This news comes just two minutes after the Bears officially released Glennon, so the Cardinals were clearly ready to get their agreement in place for him to be Sam Bradford‘s backup.

Glennon, 27, is a former third-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2013. He played out the final year of his four-year, $3.104 million rookie contract before signing a three-year, $45 million contract with the Bears that includes 18.5 million guaranteed last year.

The Bears elected to move on from him after just one season.

In 2017, Glennon appeared in four games and threw for 833 yards while completing 66.4 percent of his passes to go along with four touchdowns and five interceptions.
