Chiefs Signing Veteran OL Stefen Wisniewski

Adam Schefter reports that the Chiefs are signing veteran free agent OL Stefen Wisniewski to a contract on Tuesday.

Wisniewski, 30, is a former second-round pick by the Raiders back in the 2011 NFL Draft out of Penn State. He finished out his rookie contract and signed a one-year deal with the Jaguars in 2015.

After finishing his deal in Jacksonville, Wisniewski signed a one-year deal with the Eagles and re-signed to a three-year, $9 million extension through the 2019 season.

However, Philadelphia declined his team-option for 2019 and re-signed him to a one-year, $1.5 million contract. Philadelphia wound up cutting him loose coming out of the preseason, making him an unrestricted free agent.

In 2018, Wisniewski appeared in all 16 games for the Eagles. We had him featured in our Top 50 Available Free Agents list
