Clarence Hill reports that the Cowboys have signed G Kadeem Edwards to their practice squad on Tuesday and waived G Clay DeBord from the unit.
The Cowboys’ practice squad now consists of:
- TE Rico Gathers
- WR Andy Jones
- WR Vince Mayle
- QB Jameill Showers
- LB Jeremiah George
- DE Zach Moore
- DB Sammy Seamster
- G Kadeem Edwards
- G Ryan Seymour
- CB Leon McFadden
Edwards, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2014. He lasted over a year in Tampa Bay before he was cut loose from injured reserve with a settlement a few weeks into the 2015 season.
The Jaguars later added him to their practice squad and brought him back on a future/reserve contract. However, he was, unfortunately, among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.
Edwards has yet to appear in an NFL game.
