Cowboys Signing DL Justin Hamilton

According to Todd Archer of ESPN, the Cowboys signed DL Justin Hamilton to their active roster.

Archer points out that the Cowboys recently placed DL Tyrone Crawford on injured reserve, so Hamilton gives some depth to Dallas’ defensive line.

Hamilton, 26, originally signed on with the Bills as an undrafted free agent out of Louisiana back in 2015. He was among their final roster cuts that preseason and quickly signed with the Packers’ practice squad.

Hamilton bounced on and off the Seahawks’ and Eagles’ practice squads until signing with the Chiefs in December of 2017. He was among Kansas City’s final roster cuts this preseason.

For his career, Hamilton has appeared in eight games and recorded three total tackles and 0.5 of a sack.
