Cowboys Still Open To Re-Signing RB Felix Jones

Dallas Cowboys executive VP Stephen Jones mentioned that they have yet to ruled out re-signing RB Felix Jones at some point in the future.

“We certainly haven’t ruled out re-signing him, but we’ll see how the year takes us,” said Jones, via the Dallas Morning News.”

Jones continues to a disappointment for the Cowboys. He lost the starting job to DeMarco Murray last year and has struggled to stay healthy throughout his career. Recent reports suggested that the Cowboys are ready to take away his returning duties as well.

While Dallas may not be ready to give up on him, it’s hard to image that he would be able to secure even a mediocre contract during the offseason. In fact, we’ve actually removed him from our recently updated Top 50 Free Agents list.
