Mike Kaye, citing a person with knowledge of the situation, reports that the Eagles are planning to re-sign veteran LB Paul Worrilow to a one-year contract extension through the 2019 season.
Worrilow, 28, wound up signing on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Delaware back in 2013. He returned to the Falcons on a one-year, $2.553 million restricted tender back in March of 2016.
The Falcons signed Worrilow to a one-year, $3-million contract in 2016 and was signed by the Lions the next offseason after becoming an unrestricted free agent.
Worrilow finished out a one-year, $3 million deal with the Detroit before signing a one-year contract with the Eagles last offseason. He sustained a season-ending torn ACL in June of last year and was never able to play for Philadelphia.
In 2017, Worrilow appeared in 13 games for the Lions and recorded 30 total tackles, one fumble recovery, and one pass defense.
