According to Mike Garafolo, the Falcons are signing free-agent veteran CB Jamar Taylor to the roster Tuesday.
Taylor provides some depth at corner and is familiar with Atlanta’s defense given his time earlier this year in a similar defense with the Seahawks.
Taylor, 29, is a former second-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2013. Miami traded Taylor and the No. 250 overall pick to the Browns back in 2016 for the No. 223 selection in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Taylor was in the final year of a four-year, $3.626 million contract when the Browns signed him to a three-year, $15 million deal. He was later traded to the Cardinals for a 2020 sixth-round pick in 2018.
Arizona waived Taylor and he caught on with the Broncos soon after. He signed with the Seahawks as a free agent during the 2019 offseason and was brought back again after being released during final roster cuts. Seattle waived Taylor again in November.
In 2019, Taylor appeared in nine games for the Seahawks and recorded 21 tackles and three pass defenses.
