Jets Fill Open Spot On Practice Squad By Signing FB Julian Howsare

The New York Jets officially signed FB Julian Howsare to their practice squad on Saturday.

The Jets’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. G Craig Watts
  2. LB Freddie Bishop
  3. CB Bryson Keeton
  4. S Doug Middleton
  5. CB Dexter McDougle
  6. S Ronald Martin
  7. RB Dominique Williams
  8. LB Victor Ochi
  9. WR Wendall Williams
  10. RB Julian Howsare

Howsare, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.575 million contract with the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of Clarion back in May of last year. He was unfortunately waived coming out of the preseason but was later signed to their practice squad.

The Jets elected to bring him on a future/reserve contract this past January before cutting him loose earlier in the week to make room for TE Braedon Bowman.

In 2016, Howsare has been active for two games but has yet to receive a single carry.
