Jets Re-Signing OL Ben Braden To Practice Squad

According to Manish Mehta, the Jets are re-signing OL Ben Braden to their practice squad after he passed through waivers unclaimed on Thursday.

The Jets’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. S Brandon Bryant
  2. WR Deontay Burnett
  3. CB Jeremy Clark
  4. C Nico Falah
  5. RB De’Angelo Henderson
  6. OT Diegot Joseph
  7. DL Bronson Kaufusi
  8. LB Anthony Wint
  9. QB Davis Webb
  10. OL Ben Braden

Braden, 24, wound up signing on with the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan back in May of last year. He was waived coming out of the preseason and later signed to their practice squad.

The Jets brought Braden back on a futures contract this past January, but he was waived earlier in the week to make room for LB Kevin Pierre-Lewis.

During his five-year college career at Michigan, Braden appeared in 38 games for the Wolverines and received second-team All-Big 10 honors in 2016.
