Manish Mehta reports that the Jets have agreed to terms on a contract with free-agent C Connor McGovern.
Tom Pelissero reports that McGovern’s deal is a three-year, $27 million contract with $18 million guaranteed.
McGovern, 26, is a former fifth-round pick by the Broncos in the 2016 NFL Draft out of Missouri. He finished his four-year rookie contract and was an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career.
In 2019, McGovern started all 16 games for Denver and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 11 overall center out of 38 qualifying players.
