Jets Signing RB Frank Gore To One-Year Deal

According to Adam Schefter, the Jets are signing RB Frank Gore to a one-year deal.

Gore has already played much longer than most running backs and it looks like he’ll have another year to continue that streak.

He has been training and preparing for what will be his 16th NFL season at the age of 37 after the Bills allowed him to walk in free agency.

Gore, 36, is a former third-round pick of the 49ers back in 2005. He spent 10 seasons in San Francisco before signing a three-year, $12 million contract that included $7.5 million guaranteed with the Colts back in 2015.

Gore played out the final year of his contract before agreeing to a one-year, $1.015 million contract with the Dolphins in 2018. He signed a one-year deal with the Bills in 2019.

In 2019, Gore appeared in all 16 games for the Bills and rushed for 599 yards on 166 carries (3.6 YPC) with two touchdowns to go along with 13 receptions for 100 yards receiving.
