Lions Signing Veteran CB Sterling Moore?

Update:

Sterling Moore‘s agent has deleted the tweet in which he announced that the Lions had signed his client.

The Detroit Lions are signing veteran CB Sterling Moore to a contract on Sunday, according to his agent David Canter.

Moore, 28, originally signed on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Methodist back in 2011. However, he lasted just a few months in Oakland before he was waived a few weeks into his rookie season.

Moore bounced around a bit with the Patriots, Cowboys, Buccaneers and before signing a one-year contract with the Saints right before the start of the 2016 regular season. Moore returned to the Saints on a one-year, $900,000 last year and was on and off of their roster throughout the season.

In 2017, Moore appeared in six games for the Saints and recorded five tackles, a forced fumble and two pass defenses.
