However, Bryant explained his thinking for trying to secure a long-term contract, via his Twitter account Wednesday.

Everybody voicing opinions .. 13 mil is cool but where is my? I’ll wait …  5 years without complaining .. So how am I selfish? #family1,” Bryant tweeted.

According to Jonathan Jones, Panthers second-year WR Kelvin Benjamin reported to OTAs overweight.

Jones also mentioned that this may have contributed to Benjamin‘s second hamstring injury after returning from his first one last week.

He did come in a little heavy and he had to work himself into shape. Or diet or something. We’re going to take a look at it and make sure it’s not a chronic issue with him,” head coach Ron Rivera said. “He’s too good a football player to have on the sideline.
