- Impending free-agent WR James Jones told Josina Anderson of his plans for next season: “100 percent I want to keep playing. At least 3 more years. I had the best year out of all these free agents.“
Cardinals
- Jason Cole spoke with Cardinals S Tyrann Mathieu who says he ran on the treadmill for the first time last week since suffering his knee injury.
- Mathieu is training at the Fischer Institute in Phoenix, which is where many of the Cardinals’ players train in the offseason.
- Mathieu also told Cole that he expects to be back in time for at least part, if not all, of the Cardinals’ offseason team workouts.
Falcons
- Falcons announce that they’ve tendered exclusive rights free-agent S Ricardo Allen.
Jaguars
- According to Mike Florio, the Jaguars are very interested in free-agent DE Malik Jackson.
- Florio addes that Jackson could play a role similar to that of DE Michael Bennett with the Seahawks by “playing outside on running downs and sliding inside on passing downs.“
