Packers Signing WR Malik Turner

Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that the Packers are signing WR Malik Turner to a contract on Tuesday.

Turner visited the Packers earlier in the week and it appears as though everything checked out from their end.

Turner, 24, wound up signing on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Illinois back in 2018. He was in the first year of his three-year, $1.71 million contract when the Seahawks waived him coming out of the preseason.

Since then, Turner has been on and off of the Seahawks’ active roster. Seattle opted to tender him an offer as an exclusive rights free agent back in February before withdrawing the tender in April

In 2019, Turner appeared in 15 games for the Seahawks and caught 15 passes for 245 yards receiving and one touchdown.

We had him included in our Top 100 Available 2020 Free Agents list.
