Panthers Signing OL Tyler Larsen To Two-Year, $4.4M Extension

According to Jourdan Rodrigue, the Panthers are signing OL Tyler Larsen to a two-year, $4.4 million extension that includes $1.4 million guaranteed.

Rodrigue adds that the deal is expected to be finalized on Wednesday.

Larsen, 27, originally signed on with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Utah State back in 2014. He lasted just a few months in Miami before he was waived at the start of the regular season.

After a year with the Redskins, Larsen signed a futures contract with the Panthers for the 2016 season and he returned to Carolina on exclusive rights deals each of the past two years.

In 2017, Larsen appeared in 14 games for the Panthers and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 17 center out of 35 qualifying players.
