Ian Rapoport reports that the Patriots are signing CB Jonathan Jones to a three-year extension.
Jones, 25, signed on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn back in 2016. He finished his three-year, $1.62 million contract and re-signed to a one-year deal as a restricted free agent back in April.
In 2018, Jones appeared in all 16 games for the Patriots and recorded 55 total tackles, 1.5 sacks, three interceptions, one forced fumble, and seven pass defenses.
