The Oakland Raiders have made the hirings of defensive coordinator Jason Tarver and linebacker coach Johnny Holland official tweets Adam Schefter.
Tarver spent 2011 as the Stanford University’s co-defensive coordinator and inside line-backing coach. Stanford boasted one of the best run defenses in 2011.
Johnny Holland was the linebacking coach for the Texans in 2011, as they had a top rated defense.
