Raiders Signing DE Tank Carradine

Matt Barrows reports that the Raiders are signing former 49ers DE Tank Carradine to a contract on Friday.

The Raiders brought Carradine in for a visit, but he left without a deal and was scheduled to meet with the Seahawks. However, it appears as though Oakland was able to close the gap in the end.

Carradine, 28, is a former second-round pick of the 49ers back in 2013. He was in the final year of his four-year, $4.948 million rookie contract when he and San Francisco agreed to a one-year contract extension before the start of the 2016 season.

Carradine made a base salary of $1.1 million in 2017 and was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career.

In 2017, Carradine appeared in eight games and recorded 19 tackles and 1.5 sacks.

We had him featured in our Top 50 Available 2018 NFL Free Agents list.
