The latest candidate for the St.Louis Rams’ GM job is Omar Khan, who currently works for the Steelers, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
Khan is the salary cap manager for the Steelers so it will be interesting to see how he deals with Sam Bradford‘s gigantic Sam Bradford contract. The Rams have been awful the past few years, with a winning percentage of .208 in the last 3 seasons. Bradford hasn’t been good, at a career 74.2 QB rating (league average is usually around 81) and hasn’t been able to stay healthy. They are still expected to trade down in this years’ draft. Of course, the Steelers are 15 million dollars over the cap not.
