Seahawks Re-Signing CB Parry Nickerson To Practice Squad

The Seattle Seahawks have re-signed CB Parry Nickerson to their practice squad on Wednesday after he passed through waivers unclaimed, according to Bob Condotta.

Here’s the Seahawks updated practice squad:

  2. WR Terry Wright
  3. WR Jazz Ferguson
  4. G Jordan Roos
  5. G Kahlil McKenzie
  6. G/C Kyle Fuller 
  7. S Ryan Neal
  8. DE Jachai Polite 
  9. QB Cardale Jones
  10. CB Parry Nickerson

Nickerson, 24, is a former sixth-round pick by the Jets in the 2018 NFL Draft out of Tulane. He is entering the second year of his four-year, $2,637,480 rookie contract and set to make a base salary of $570,000 this season. 

The Jets traded Nickerson to the Seahawks for a conditional 2020 seventh-round draft pick coming out of the preseason. Seattle waived him on Tuesday. 

In 2018, Nickerson appeared in all 16 games for the Jets and recorded 21 total tackles, one tackle for loss, no interceptions, and one pass defense.
