Seahawks Signing QB Cardale Jones To Practice Squad

Tom Pelissero reports that the Seahawks are signing QB Cardale Jones to their practice squad. 

Seattle has a full practice squad with 10 players, so they will have to remove someone in the near future:

2. CB Simeon Thomas
3. TE Jacob Hollister
4. WR Terry Wright
5. WR Jazz Ferguson
6. OT Elijah Nkansah
7. G Jordan Roos
8. G Kahlil McKenzie
9. G/C Kyle Fuller 
10. S Ryan Neal
11. DE Jachai Polite 

Jones, 26, was taken in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Bills. Buffalo traded Jones to the Chargers in 2017 in exchange for a conditional seventh-round pick.

Jones was entering the third year of his four-year, $2.72 million rookie contract when the Chargers waived him coming out of the preseason. L.A. signed him to their practice squad after clearing waivers.

The Chargers re-signed him to a futures deal back in January but was among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason. 

In 2016, Jones completed 6 of 11 passing attempts (54.5 percent) for 96 yards receiving and one interception.
