Steelers Re-Signing RB Stevan Ridley To One-Year Deal

Adam Schefter reports that the Steelers are re-signing veteran RB Stevan Ridley to a one-year contract.

Ridley, 29, is a former third-round pick of the Patriots back in 2011. He played out his rookie contract before signing a one-year, $1.25 million contract with the Jets back in April of 2015.

Ridley would later join the Lions last year and had a brief stint with the Colts before signing on with the Falcons last October. Unfortunately, he was cut loose after another just a month or so in Atlanta.

The Broncos signed Ridley to a contract at the start of training camp but he was among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason. The Vikings signed Ridley to a contract only to cut him loose soon after. He signed a one-year deal with the Steelers back in December.

In 2017, Ridley appeared in two games for the Steelers and recorded 108 rushing yards on 26 carries (4.2 YPC) and scored one touchdown.
