Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports that the Bears are expected to use an original round tender worth $1.907 million on restricted free agent WRsย Josh Bellamyย and Cameron Meredith.
- Adam Jahns adds that the Bears also used an original-round tender on CB Bryce Callahan.
Bellamy, 28, originally signed on with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Louisville back in 2012. He had brief stints with the Chargers and Redskins before eventually being claimed off of waivers by the Bears in April of 2014.
Chicago brought Bellamy back on an exclusive rights deal last year.
In 2017, Bellamy appeared in 15 games for the Bears and caught 24 passes for 376 yards receiving and on touchdown. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 79 receiver out of 116 qualifying players.
